About Knighton Dining
1 Victoria Road offers a warm and relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy delicious food and good company in a cosy dining room, home away from home. The dining room seats 8 people comfortably, so whether you have had a long day walking along Offa’s dyke or a hard day at work and just want a hearty home cooked meal without you having to cook, Knighton Dining is the place. Alternatively you can choose to come and collect for enjoyment in your own home.
Number 1 Victoria Road is a Victorian villa in the heart of Knighton and lends itself to a wonderful dining experience. The food will be lovingly prepared and served based on
Cheese and biscuits will be available as an alternative to dessert. All meals served with freshly baked rolls and ending with tea or coffee.
Charlotte has experience of cooking for a diverse range of dietary needs, including, vegan, vegetarian, coeliac and lactose intolerant please let us know at the time of booking.
A selection of hand cooked freshly frozen meals are also available to collect for you to heat through at your convenience. These can be collected through out the week.
About the Chef
Charlotte Turner-Taylor has had a love and fascination of cooking from early childhood. The importance of home cooked meals comes from her earliest memories when asking her mother what was for tea, the reply would be ‘well let’s start with an onion’.
Charlotte never ceases to be amazed at the transformational quality of cooking – of taking raw ingredients and with a bit of culinary magic and love watch as they turn into a delicious creation for all to enjoy.
In 2012 Charlotte made the decision to follow her passion and embarked on an intensive Cordon Bleu cookery course at Tante Marie Culinary Academy, she graduated in March 2013 with a double distinction in culinary arts and won the award for top student. In February 2014 she moved to 1 Victoria Road. Knighton. Here she set about turning her vision into reality and looks forward to welcoming you to share her food and home.
